Categorical Course (CME activity)
Categorical Courses offer a comprehensive exploration of a specific clinical focus, incorporating the latest research and ongoing studies. The sessions combine didactic lectures with case examples, providing a thorough examination of underlying disorders, treatment options, controversies, and outcomes.
Angio-club Workshop (CME activity)
Angio-Club Workshops offer practical "how I do it" insights in a case-based learning format, where faculty present and discuss real cases in an interactive environment. Attendees will gain valuable lessons from these real-world scenarios, with presentations focused on key teaching points and practical takeaways.
SIR Connect Townhalls (CME activity)
SIR Connect Townhalls offer an interactive platform for informal discussions between panelists and attendees in a one-hour session, scheduled on Sunday, April 12, from 4:45 - 5:45 p.m. With no slides or timed presentations, these sessions promote open dialogue, allowing participants to share insights, ask questions, and explore relevant topics in a relaxed setting. This format fosters meaningful exchanges and diverse perspectives, enabling attendees to connect with experts, gain valuable insights, and contribute to the conversation—creating an ideal environment for community building and expanding knowledge in vascular and interventional radiology.
Member Section Programming (CME activity)
SIR sections bring together members with shared interests or life stages. These sections promote idea exchange and develop customized programming, offering a platform for members to explore specific topics. Additionally, some section programming serves as a pathway for professional leadership development within SIR.

SIR Vascular Huddle Symposium (CME activity)

The 2026 SIR Vascular Huddle Symposium will present Interventional Radiologists with the latest advancements in clinical practice and relevant research on Venous Interventions, Portal Hypertension, PAD/Arterial Interventions, and Interventional Oncology. Leading experts from the US and around the world will share updates, explore key topics, discuss groundbreaking advances, address pressing controversies, and introduce new techniques. Multidisciplinary round tables, interactive case discussions, and debates will provide additional opportunities for an engaging, fast-paced learning experience.

Extreme IR Symposium (CME activity)

Often mimicked, never matched. Extreme IR is the apogee of supersonic-case events, where the docent-curated cache of 6-minute singular cases— calamity and triumph are dissected, lauded, and humbly accepted— all in the pursuit of education, safety, clinical practice, caution, and... interventional eloquence. Come and be amazed. A faculty from around the world, from students to renowned experts, present, amidst Profs. Haskal, Dake, and Madassery’s signature moderation, and a pundit panel of renowned experts. This is an event you won’t want to miss.

IR Escape Room (non-CME activity)

We’re calling on IR teams to design original clinical scenarios for the IR Escape Room—an immersive, three-level (Diagnostic → Complication → Resolution) simulation that tests teams in real-world interventional radiology problem-solving. Selected teams will bring their scenarios to life onsite in Toronto Sunday-Tuesday afternoons, using hands-on simulators, imaging puzzles, and device technologies, while attendee teams race the clock (15–20 minutes) to diagnose, manage, and resolve each challenge. To play the IR Escape Room, teams must sign up in February. Signup coming soon.
