CME and credit information
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) is accredited by the ACCME to provide medical education for physicians.
All attendees will be required to claim their own credits via the SIR Learning Center. The SIR 2020 VIRTUAL meeting course will be in your learning center account and the process of claiming credits will be available on Saturday, June 13. To receive credit, please enter the number of credits in the credit claim activity within the course. The breakdown of sessions are listed below.
SIR designates 2020 SIR VIRTUAL Meeting for a maximum of 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
- Saturday, June 13: Scientific Session = 1.75 CME credits
- Saturday, June 13: SA-CME PAD Session = 1.5 CME credits
- Saturday, June 13: SA-CME PAE Session = 1.5 CME credits
- Sunday, June 14: Scientific Session = 1.50 CME credits
- Sunday, June 14: SA-CME IO Session = 1.5 CME credits
- Sunday, June 14: SA-CME Women's Health Session = 1.5 CME credits
Total credits for attending all live sessions = 9.25 CME credits
Self-assessment CME (SA-CME) Credit Information
The 2020 SIR VIRTUAL Meeting is approved for 6 SA-CME credits by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). SIR is awarded Deemed Status by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). This educational activity meets the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.

For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Physician assistants may receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for completing this program.
