First Time Attendees
Is this your first time attending SIR? We are so glad to have you! This page is just for you. Check out the tips and inside info below to help you arrive prepared.
- Badge Pick-up
This is a reminder that we are not mailing badges, and you need your confirmation email and a government issued photo ID to pick-up your badge onsite. You may use your original confirmation email onsite to scan at Scan-and-Go and pick-up your badge. Registration is in the Atrium lobby on the 4th floor.
- Download the SIR Meeting App
Use the SIR 2020 meeting app to get all the most up-to-date info on events, sessions, maps, on-site notifications, and more! You can use the online personal planner to plan your week in advance. The schedule is subject to change, but the app will be updated. Search SIR meetings in the app store or Google play.
- CME Credits
You must scan into a session to receive your CME credit from the meeting. Plan your sessions ahead with your personal planner.
- Wear your badge on-site
Keep your name badge on at all times for conference activities. You will not be allowed entry into sessions, the Expo, or any receptions without it.
Attend networking events! This includes the opening reception, enhanced expo breaks, and more! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet up with fellow colleagues from around the world.
- Take Advantage of Social Media
Stay up to date on changes during conference by following the #SIR20SEA hashtag on Facebook and Twitter. You don’t have to wait until the conference; Start using the hashtag today! Just follow or like The Society of Interventional Radiology on social media platforms.
- Planning for Guests
Spouses, guests, etc. are not permitted at any conference event unless you have specifically registered them for said event. (Unfortunately, guest registration is not available for children under 16).
- Visit the Expo Hall
Make sure to visit SIR Central to connect with staff, get answers to any questions, watch compelling conversations, and pick up some SIR gear!
