Hands-On Workshops

FACULTY AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS ARE STANDING BY TO GUIDE YOUR EXPERIENCE

For many, an essential experience at SIR 2019. Most workshops are scheduled as complementary pairs and make a great "two-for-one". Except with a few sessions restricted by practice level, your registration for one will give you access to both workshops occurring at the same time.

We have two formats, providing slightly different emphases on learning:

- APT: Advanced Procedural Technique lab. Start with focused, faculty-driven demonstrations of complex treatments

- HOW: Hands-On Workshop device training. Make performance-centered comparisons of leading and new medical devices

Both formats include faculty moderators and device vendor experts at hand, so that all views and varieties of questions can be addressed.

A CRITICAL SELECTION OF DEVICES FOR YOUR PREFERRED PRACTICE AREAS

When you register for SIR 2019, make sure to check out the range of hands-on trainings on offer this year. Topics are organized to build on your knowledge among complementary device types. Device stations will feature a plethora of non-sterile samples for you to touch, maneuver and deploy, and many will be augmented with vascular models, phantoms and simulators.

The hands-on workshops create a focused arena for seeing, touching, and asking the hard questions about an exceptional range of devices, tools and instruments available for today’s interventional practice.

Please note that no CME will be provided for hands-on device workshops.
