CME and credit information

Accreditation Information

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) is accredited by the ACCME to provide medical education for physicians.
 


CME Information

SIR designates this live activity for a maximum of 32 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Self-assessment Module (SAM) and Self-assessment CME (SA-CME) Credit Information

The 2019 SIR Annual Meeting is approved for 40.5 SA-CME credits by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). SIR is awarded Deemed Status by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). This educational activity meets the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.

Additional Credits

For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Physician assistants may receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for completing this program.


Continuing Education Certificates - NEW PROCESS FOR 2019

All attendees will be required to claim their own meeting credits via the SIR Learning Center. The SIR 2019 activity will be in your learning center account and the process of claiming credits will be available on Saturday, March 23. To receive credits for sessions attended, please select the day of the session and choose each session you attended. The system will only allow you to claim credits for one session per time block.

To assist in tracking your attended sessions, please either use your personal planner or tap the star next to sessions to add it to your schedule.

Certificate of Attendance

International Attendees: While on site, you can obtain your certificate of attendance by visiting SIR Central in the SIR Expo prior to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 27.
