During this session, attendees will be introduced to new methods and approaches to treating conditions and diseases in the category of women's health. This case-based format, where interaction with the audience and speakers is encouraged, will include topics of cancer treatment for curative and palliative intent, endometriosis therapies, and pain management, as well as others. Out-of-the-box thinking will be presented with currently available techniques already being implemented in everyday practices.
Learning Objectives:
Describe the characteristics of patients ideally suited for percutaneous cryoablation of breast cancer based on recent publications and recently updated FDA guidelines.
Demonstrate new methods for the image guided interventional treatment of endometriosis.
Define and understand best practices and new and innovative approaches for the image guided interventional treatment of uterine fibroids.
