In the US, PAE was introduced about 10 years ago and continues to evolve as we continue to expand our understanding of the technique. Dr. Aaron Fischman was among the first handful of doctors that was trained by Dr. Francisco Carnevale and brought PAE to the US. In this presentation, Dr. Fischman will discuss the evolution of PAE and highlight the importance of embolic selection and microcatheter delivery technique to achieve deep embolic penetration into the prostate while helping to reduce procedure time and radiation exposure.
