Cosmetics in the Interventional Radiology World

This educational session is designed to introduce cosmetic procedures to interventional radiologists, with a particular focus on applications in the outpatient setting. By the conclusion of this session, participants will have a foundational understanding of: 1. Laser liposuction, laser lipolysis, and laser skin tightening; 2. Fat transfer and fat grafting techniques; 3. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for skin, hair/scalp, and other clinical applications; 4. Cosmetic lasers and their applications; 5. Facial fillers and Botox therapy; 6. Venous sclerotherapy

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will gain exposure to a wide range of aesthetic techniques, including laser liposuction, fat transfer, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, fat grafting, cosmetic lasers, dermal fillers, and Botox injections. In addition, an in-depth review of venous sclerotherapy will be provided.
