Climate change is one of the greatest current public health concerns. The US healthcare system would rank 13th in the world for greenhouse gas emissions if considered as a nation. In this session, the contribution of interventional radiology and other healthcare services to climate change, relationship of climate change on health and health equity, strategies to reduce carbon footprint in radiology, and collaborative opportunities for change will be discussed as part of this panel.
