Driven by advances in techniques and technologies, evolving evidence and patient preference, the management of peripheral arterial disease has shifted toward an “endovascular first” approach. These interventional procedures are less invasive and associated with faster recovery compared to open surgical procedures, but are not without potential adverse consequences. This workshop session will focus on the potential complications of peripheral endovascular procedures, including their recognition, proper management, and strategies for prevention.
