This is practical session on how to, with tips and tricks to manage different clinical scenarios in portal hypertension including how to manage bleeding varices in the setting of portal and splenic vein thrombosis, how to perform TIPS with abnormal anatomy and how to perform splenic artery embolization.

Learning Objectives:

To learn how to treat variceal bleedings in the setting of acute and chronic portal and splenic vein thrombosis .
To discuss different tips and tricks on how to perform a TIPS in patients with very small right lobes .
To learn when to use splenic artery embolization in the managment of complications of portal hypertension .
