The SIR Business Institute offers a masterclass for Interventional Radiologists and practice administrators, focusing on improving business strategies in their field. The U.S. office-based labs and IR private practice market show significant growth potential, attributed to the increasing number of surgical procedures conducted in outpatient settings and the rising prevalence of vascular diseases. The U.S. office-based labs market was valued at USD 9.6 billion in 2021 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.46% from 2022 to 2030.
Practice Gap
*Lack of comfort with financial issues, including banking and access to capital.
*Importance of non-clinical skills to assure success, especially in the outpatient setting.
*Contracts and other important legal issues.
Broader program learning objectives and outcomes
*Develop an entrepreneurial approach to a current business model.
*Participate in a “masterclass” in various business-related fields.
*Learn about how to shift thinking to a successful growth-related approach to business.
A high level of patient satisfaction within OBL settings is expected to contribute to market growth, with dedicated and focused teams of healthcare providers enhancing patient experiences. This satisfaction is partly due to the shift towards minimally invasive procedures, which are preferred by patients and facilitate quicker recovery times. This ultimately leads to a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in providing quality patient care.
The SIR Business Institute serves as a valuable resource for Interventional Radiologists (IR), empowering them with essential business strategies to enhance their practices. Feedback from attendees indicates a high level of educational satisfaction and a strong intention to implement. The 2024 attendee survey showed the following results:
*100% of attendees found the SIR Business Institute courses educational
*89% of the attendees plan to change their professional practices based on the new strategies they acquired by participating in this course.
*95% of attendees were either satisfied or very satisfied.
