Join us for the session Mimics of Vascular Anomalies at SIR 2025, where we will explore the critical challenges of distinguishing vascular anomalies from other lesions across various organ systems. This session will provide a comprehensive review of conditions that can closely resemble vascular anomalies, as well as true vascular anomalies that may be misidentified as other pathologies. Through detailed case studies and imaging insights, attendees will gain practical strategies to improve diagnostic accuracy, learn new treatment modalities and avoid potential pitfalls in clinical practice.

Learning Objectives:

Identify Key Imaging Features: Develop the ability to recognize imaging characteristics that distinguish vascular anomalies from non-vascular lesions across different organ systems.
Understand Common Diagnostic Pitfalls: Explore common clinical and radiologic scenarios where vascular anomalies mimic other pathologies or vice versa, and learn strategies to minimize misdiagnosis.
Apply Diagnostic and Therapeutic Frameworks: Integrate knowledge of vascular anomaly classification and treatment techniques into a systematic approach for evaluating complex or ambiguous lesions.
