Embolization is a constantly evolving area of Interventional Radiology. This session will highlight some of the newest areas of focus within the broad field of embolization, concentrating on new indications for embolization, new agents used for embolization, and new settings for the performance of embolization procedures.

Learning Objectives:

To become familiar with the newest agents either available now or becoming available soon for the performance of embolization procedures.
To understand the basis for and the current supporting data available supporting the use of embolization as treatment for osteoarthritis of the knee, and hemorrhoids.
To review the challenges and complexities of performing embolization setting within an office-based lab.
