Experts will present difficult genitourinary cases that had suboptimal outcomes. They will discuss what they learned and how to prevent future complications.

Learning Objectives:

Renal bx and ablation: Biopsies: Understand the expanding role of renal tissue and renal mass biopsy. See and understand causes and possible treatments of vascular complications of renal biopsies. Renal embolization: Know the role and potential complications of pre-nephrectomy embolization and importance of good angiography prior to embolization to identify early draining vein and determination of particle size.
Renal and adrenal vascular: Adrenal-Learn that adrenal vein hemorrhage is a rare complication that can be avoided by adherence to good technique specifically by not deeply cannulating the adrenal vein and not over injecting. Renal-see a rare complication of renal stenting and early stent fracture and how to deal with such a complication.
