Advanced interventional pain management in interventional radiology has significantly evolved during the last decade. A plethora of available technologies and innovations are now available to the interventional radiologist for the management of pain in patients with and without cancer, and the demand is greater than ever. This session is designed to present the "Top 5" advanced interventional pain management procedure sets as defined by those that are in the greatest demand, have the greatest efficacy, and often serve as the foundational core of a successful practice in this space.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the five of the most requested consultation scenarios in interventional radiology regarding the management of pain, as well as define the therapeutic algorithm to address each.
Understand the principles of mastering core procedures in interventional radiology to serve as the foundation of a successful modern practice managing pain with interventions.
Describe the targets employed for modification to solve difficult pain scenarios, and understand why access to these targets is unique to interventional radiology.
