Assessment of the venous system is critical in patients suffering from venous disease with ultrasound having a critical role to assess for the source of disease. Utilize case specific learning and observation to optimize identification of the broad spectrum of disease that can cause lower extremity swelling, post-thrombotic syndrome, deep vein thrombosis and chronic pelvic pain.
