Advanced image guided pain intervention is the natural progression of percutaneous delivery of analgesia and no single physician group is more suitable for this than Interventional radiology. This categorical session is designed to help IR physicians develop a sense of how to build/incorporate a pain service into their practice. Regional blocks are often times overlooked but often act as the gateway to more advanced procedures. We have hand selected a lineup of speakers who are passionate, skilled, and experienced in developing pain service lines from the ground up.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify suitable blocks for patients who present with extremity, axial, abdominal, and pelvic pain.
Upon completion, participants will be able to list the target nerves for regional blocks for extremity, axial, abdominal, and pelvic pain.
Upon completion, participants will be able to list the medications and quantity to deliver in regional blocks for patients with extremity, axial, abdominal, and pelvic pain.
