This session will focus on the practical training opportunities in interventional radiology available across different regions of the world and how these opportunities can support international education and collaboration. While training structures vary widely between countries, many regions have unique procedural expertise, disease patterns, or training models that may provide valuable learning opportunities for international trainees.

Representatives from participating societies will highlight the key strengths of their regional training environments, including procedural expertise, clinical exposure, and educational innovations. The session will also explore how cross-border training exchanges, visiting fellowships, and short-term observerships could enhance global IR education and help address disparities in training opportunities between regions. By sharing successful educational initiatives and identifying areas of complementary expertise, this session aims to promote international collaboration in IR training and expand opportunities for trainees to gain diverse procedural and clinical experience.

Highlight key procedural expertise, disease experience, and training strengths within the IR programs represented by participating societies.
Share successful educational initiatives or training innovations implemented by individual societies that have significantly improved IR education.
Identify opportunities for international trainees to gain exposure to unique procedures, disease patterns, or clinical training environments in different regions.
Discuss strategies to facilitate international training exchanges, including observerships, visiting fellowships, and collaborative educational programs.
