The purpose of this session would be to openly discuss the quiet and often isolating life surrounding being a parent of a special needs child or a single working parent. To discuss how to navigate career development and advancement while fostering the growth and development of children at home in the setting being a single parent or parent of special needs child with or without additional support. To open the floor for hard conversations and discuss the possibilities rather than just the limitations.
