This symposium will explore the evolving landscape of VTE management, including recent guideline updates, their implications, and the clinical challenges that remain in thrombectomy today. Faculty will discuss gaps in thrombectomy care and introduce Pulse Thrombectomy — a new category in VTE treatment that combines a large-bore catheter with powerful deep vacuum delivered closer to the clot — to address limitations of existing technologies. Through real-world VTE cases, speakers will share their experience with the Symphony Thrombectomy System, highlighting the importance of a standardized procedural technique, improvements in clot removal power and efficiency, and strategies for treating complex anatomies, including left lower lobe pulmonary emboli.
