This categorical course will introduce the current and future embolic agents and illustrate the techniques, advantages and pitfalls of each through discussing their use in specific disease pathologies.

To learn about the fundamentals and actions of various current and new embolic agents.
To learn the application of each type of embolic agent in a specific pathology.
To understand from the examples, the principles of why certain embolic agents are chosen for the different applications, and the advantages and pitfalls of the different agents.
