IR Management of Venous Compression Syndromes (Nutcracker, Venous TOS and May-Thurner): When to Intervene

This session will cover a discussion and case presentation of the management, diagnosis, and techniques involved in evaluating and treating vascular compression syndromes. We will present current data regarding newly identified symptoms that warrant intervention, options for treating compressions, including percutaneous and surgical interventions, and discuss the need for future randomized trials.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion participants will be able to better understand indications for intervention and treatment options.
  • Upon completion participants will be able to understand best techniques for safe and durable interventions.
  • Upon completion participants will be able to discuss recent literature supporting intervention and symptoms attributable to compressive lesions.
