This session aims to overview of the treatment of basic and complex femoropopliteal disease. Medical management, physical examination, basic and advanced crossing techniques, as well as case-based presentation, will be discussed.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss the medical management of patients with PAD/CLTI, specifically the roles of antiplatelet agents, factor Xa inhibtors, statin impact, GLP-1RA and other medical treatments.
Discuss common pitfalls and potential complications for certain types of PAD / CLTI patient presentations.
Demonstrate proficiency in advanced crossing techniques such as CART, balloon assisted re-entry, and crossing devices.
