The IR Escape Room is designed to offer an engaging and educational team-based experience for SIR 2025 attendees, focusing on clinical problem-solving, collaboration, and innovative thinking within interventional radiology. It provides an opportunity to reinforce IR principles through interactive problem-solving, fosters teamwork and collaboration, and highlights the creative and adaptable nature of IR practices. If you want to participate as a team, please sign up here.
The concept: A set of two escape rooms with a unique theme and clinical simulation designed to immerse participants in realistic IR scenarios.
The format: Each room accommodates 5 participants in a 15-20-minute session. Teams will solve puzzles, decode encrypted messages, virtual reality, QR codes, and apply IR knowledge to "escape." We will offer a mixture of competition-based and open-play timeslots.
The target audience: Interventional radiologists, trainees, and healthcare professionals.
