The informal but thought-provoking session will discuss how private practice has evolved being an IR today within a traditional DR/IR group. Are IRs still seen as DRs who just happen to perform procedures? Are IRs given more latitude to perform clinical duties, including having clinic time in lieu of reading diagnostics? Are most IRs still reading films and doing as much IR as they want? Are DRs still seen as supplementing IR salary while IRs anchor the group to the hospital system?
