Basilar Artery occlusion

Since the publication of the major stroke trials in 2015, many additional studies have been published expanding the role of mechanical thrombectomy for the treatment of ischemic stroke patients. In this session the most recent AHA/ASA guidelines for treatment of ischemic stroke patients will be reviewed along with new recommendations based on the recent Large core infarct and Basilar artery stroke trials.
