Imaging Considerations to Prevent Complications in Locoregional Treatment in the Liver

This session presents strategies for complication prevention in the variety of procedures through meticulous imaging review. Evidence-based approaches to enhance procedural safety and patient outcomes will be presented. Topics include optimizing thoracic and abdominal biopsy techniques, leveraging imaging in trauma management, MSK interventions, local therapy in prostate and liver. Emphasis will be placed on current evidence for pre-procedural risk assessment, and complication mitigation techniques through focus on pre- and intraprocedural imaging review.
