Health and safety

COVID-19 vaccination is required for ALL attendees at SIR 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston.

In order to make your experience at SIR 2022 seamless, we have partnered with CLEAR Health Pass to make your COVID-19 screening easier ahead of arriving on site. As a reminder, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) requires all attendees to show proof of vaccination and will have to complete a health survey in order to enter the annual meeting. Our priority is the safety and welfare of our members, attendees, exhibitors, and guests. In addition, all attendees must comply with Boston safety protocols in place at the time of the meeting.

Scan the QR code or click on it to go through the CLEAR screening.

Once onsite, attendees will have to show the green check page on the CLEAR app to get their badge. If attendees aren't verified, they can still download and do so onsite.

Attendees who choose not to use the CLEAR Health Pass can bring proof of vaccination onsite. A photo of your vaccination card will suffice.

Important resource for international travelers

If you're traveling to Boston from outside the U.S. and are unsure if you're eligible to board an international flight, we recommend taking a short travel assessment developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Based on your answers about your COVID-19 vaccine history, the assessment can tell you whether or not you will be able to board a flight to the U.S. and it will also provide details on the documentation you need to present to your airline before boarding.
