Running a successful hospital-based practice requires a different business savvy now than it has in the past. To open an office-based lab (OBL) or stay at the top of the business game, an entrepreneurial approach to business is a must. 

The SIR Business Institute is the newly created entrepreneurial business symposium for early career IRs, IR private practice owners and practice administrators. The 1-day educational offering will allow through the implementation of a process-based approach for owners to set up/expand their practices. 

Program objectives

Upon completion of this course, an attendee should be able to:
  • Develop an entrepreneurial approach to a current business model.
  • Participate in a ‘masterclass’ in various business-related fields.
  • Learn about how to shift thinking to a successful growth-related approach to business.
