Call for Session Proposals
The SIR 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting Committee challenges you to submit new and fresh programming ideas for SIR 2026 in Toronto, April 11-15. We’re looking for fresh submissions across session types, including SIR Connect Townhalls, Compelling Conversations, and Meet Ups.
Session Types
- SIR Connect Townhall: These 60-minute townhalls are intended for an informal, open discussion between a panel and the audience in a session room. The session doesn’t include slides or timed presentations.
- 2 facilitators; 2-4 additional panelists
- Deadline to Submit: Thursday, September 25
- Compelling Conversations: These 20-minute conversations are designed for immersive storytelling, experience exchange, and hearing diverse perspectives. Held in the morning in the Expo, these sessions offer valuable insights into the experiences of interventional radiologists, fostering a deeper understanding of the field.
- 2 facilitators; 2-4 additional panelists
- Deadline to Submit: Thursday, September 25
- Meet Ups: New this year, these Meet Ups are informal, interactive sessions designed to foster meaningful connections and peer-to-peer engagement around key topics in IR. Held in the afternoon in the Expo, each Meet Up offers a relaxed setting where attendees can exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss emerging trends with colleagues who share similar interests. Topics will be selected based on attendee votes—ensuring the sessions reflect what matters most to our community.
