Neurointerventions I: Spine Interventions
Description of common techniques for back pain including nerve root blocks, epidural steroid injection, facet blocks, medial branch blocks, rhizotomy. Patient management for different interventional spine treatments and Interventional spine procedures, including spine biopsy, bone augmentation and combination techniques for osteoporosis and tumor lesions.
Objective:
At the end of the session, the learner should be able to:
1.Describe the background of spine techniques
2.Discuss patient selection and treatment management for each procedure, including medication choice and approaches
3.Identify cases of pain therapy and bone augmentation as stand-alone or combination treatments in a multitude of spine ailments
