Why exhibit?
The SIR Annual Scientific Meeting has established itself as the premier world-wide gathering for all professionals devoted to the field of interventional radiology. This diverse registration population includes interventional radiologists, technologists, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, related medical specialists and industry representatives. The 2010 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Tampa, Fla., provided education and networking opportunities to more than 5,300 registrants from across the globe and hosted annual meetings of the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing (ARIN), formerly ARNA, and the Association of Vascular and Interventional Radiographers (AVIR). The 2011 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Chicago, Ill., promises to continue the trend of quality education that is expected from this foremost event.
Who Attends?
At the 2010 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting, "IR Innovation," exhibitors occupied a Technical Exhibit Hall encompassing 50,000 net square feet of space representing 155 companies, of which 39 were new to the event. SIR continues to experience growth in exhibitors and in Technical Exhibit Hall space. This trend is expected to continue as interventional radiologists expand their clinical practices to incorporate innovative new procedures and technologies.
