Dear Corporate Partner,

Welcome to the IREVOLUTION.

This year's theme focuses on the power of interventional radiology as a whole - physicians, physician extenders, industry and hospitals - working together to protect and strengthen our field. I know that this year's meeting will educate and invigorate attendees with a community; a community which you, as a corporate partner in IR, are an integral member.

In our 2008 SIR Attendee Survey, 98 percent of respondents answered that they visited the Technical Exhibit Hall and 94 percent of those went with the intention of viewing new products. Your participation is vital to this meeting's success. The advances in devices, imaging and other technology that are showcased in the Technical Exhibit Hall provide a key learning resource to which we are committed to directing attendees. We will continue successful features such as (daily lunches and Lunch and Learn opportunities) and will position key resources like the cyber café computers to drive traffic to the exhibits. In addition to these traffic-building strategies, the 2009 schedule will also be shifted, allowing for longer breaks at consistent times during the program so that attendees can experience the whole of the Technical Exhibit Hall.

In addition to the unbeatable San Diego location, we're keeping the programming fresh to keep the registration numbers high and the attendees engaged. Popular sessions such as the workshops and the Dotter Lecture will of course be present in 2009, but exciting new events such as "JeopIRdy," "SIR Meets the Roman EmpIRe" and "Cosmetic IR" will add a new flare to our meeting's program.
